Interesting moniker though with such a title I would actually have expected an answer to our problems instead of mere statements.

So what is the answer answer man? I'm curious to know because I don't have it.

That is a serious limitation of this site but it's free so I guess you get what you pay for.

Recall not an option

Answer man:

It's frustrating to watch the current city council and our mayor conduct the business of our city. That's why I was interested in learning if a recall was possible.

Discussion on this site two or three weeks ago pretty much put that option to rest. Any such action, short of recalling all of council and the mayor, would be useless. Those remaining would be able to appoint similarly minded friends to serve in their places. A lot of work and money would be expended for nothing.

Our best option would seem to be to work on finding and funding like minded citizens to run against the incumbents as they come up for re-election.

We must also try to keep our issues in front of the people of Pickerington using whatever opportunities arise such as stupid comments from our officials and the current, but certainly not the last, request by the school board to house and teach the 300 new students that come into the district every year.
