Curious George: YOur points are well taken. I sat down and imagined the possible impact of a mass (4) recall and in every case the presiding (majority) of the council would appoint their toadies in every seat. Although the interest in this, we also need to think through the impact of this and any possible change it could make. The reality is that we may not be able to stop the 3000 houses at this time. We can however position candidates for the next election. Brian Fox and Craig Maxey have openingly said they are not going to run. Brian for two reasons 1)he is bored with City stuff and wants to move his power base to the County 2) he knows he would be recalled and his Napoleonic ego could not handle that. Craig is not running also because he know he would not win, so I can guarantee you that they have already set the bribs in motion to fill those seats. Just watch to see who gets their driveway suddenly paved, grass seed put in and house repainted, or just watch to see who surfaces in the interviews for council now. They are the future toadies. The proper action may be to prepare for the next election.
