For those of you who missed the City Council Meeting - the Ordinance 2002-126 - to rescind the Ordinance 2002-94 & pass the Final Plats by emergency was tabled. We need to continue to put pressure on the City Council to do the right thing for the schools & our communities.
This means the Referendum efforts for Ordinance 2002-94 are in high gear. Anyone interested in signing this petition to slow down growth should contact me - I will get the closest circulator to you ASAP.

Anybody home today?
Hey!! Hello!! where's everybody at? Did the City finally shut the PATA web site Down?? Now come on everybody can't be out circulating petitions and you have no time to keep a few of us company with your words of wisdom. That Dougie Parker guy surely fired up the troops and got everyone mad as hell. Well I bet you'll all be back next week with a large package of fresh signatures for the elected's to worry about.
Yesterday even the Jehovah Witnesses showed up at my door with a petition. Man they will do anything to get their foot into the door.
You guys are just wasting your time they will rescind the ordinances and pass them as emergency. All your work will be wasted. You could have been watching the Browns lose to the power house Ravens.
Soaking your feet in salt water will help those aching dogs. I do wish you guys would save a little energy to deliver my PATA newsletter here to the house. Isn't it due or have you run out of things to report? Maybe they just don't have the money to print the issue. At least Daryl is hoping. NAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!

WHAT IF?
First, great website. I thought I was alone.
QUESTION: Why did Pickerington City Council back down and not change the plat approval for Pickerington Ponds to an emergency?
ANSWER: Because, like all public and political bodies, they are afraid to cheat in the light. Not only are they afraid of how this action ''looks'', but they're also afraid of having their cumulative actions held up to detailed analysis in light of the damage they've done to the schools. I wonder if their developer friends discouraged them from doing anything to call attention to this issue. (doubt the developers want the perception that they paid for council's votes)
WHAT IF??? What if I got off the freeway Friday and starting right on the exit ramp were dozens of home-made signs....
''COUNCIL WON'T CHEAT IF YOU'RE WATCHING. ATTEND COUNCIL MEETINGS. ALERT THE MEDIA!!
''COUNCIL HAS NO PLAN. SAVE OUR SCHOOLS''
''NO PLAN, NO DEVELOPMENT. HOW MUCH MORE CAN YOU AFFORD IN TAXES''.
I can see you all have computers...
Do you have cardboard and paint? Do you want the media to attend these meetings? Do you want this issue on everyone's mind?
Just my thoughts...watch for those signs.

Gary,
No one is alone when they have friends, common concerns, and the intelligence to solve problems. I like your signage thoughts, but need to pass along what others have made available to our Contact Person. The City Manager has ?“authority?” to direct cleaning up of ?‘litter?’ along the road right of way.
Will that person ?“allow?” such signs?
Thanks for the positives on this website. If you do that sign it?’ll need to be www.neighborhoodlink.com/org/pata
