Parker defines democracy in Pickerington:

Parker?’s quote in the 10/2 Times Sun makes it apparent....?”We were elected to handle things the way we want to handle them?”.

I think he got that one from Lee Gray back in December of 1999 when the freight train for home developers and taxpayer giveaways started its engines.

By the way, Lee Gray represented Homewood's interests during the negotiations (with the select city staff) for the Reserve at Pickerington Ponds.

Thanks to The OAF folks down the page for his nomination.

You should see him in person

Lisa

If you tihnk his nwspaper quotes lack any sense of democary you should see him in person at the council meetings. They have elected him to head the most important and powerful committee in the city government. He owns nothing and his only claim to fame was being a washed out golf pro. I use the word PRO sparingly. He once thought that the use of emergency was another name for efficent government. Trying to pull the wool over the eyes of the locals. After David Shaver made a wonderful statement about how he opposed Craig Maxey being re-appointed back to council Dougie said, ''but you didn't take notes''! Maybe Mr. Shaver didn't need to take notes with the questions that Dougie was asking.

You Guys Have A Problem!

Dear Anonymous,

I attended my first ever Pickerington Council meeting the night before last. The citizens speaking, and I don't remember all of their names, but in particular Ms. Reade and Mr. Harding were right on the point. Mr. Shaver was the only true gentleman that I witnessed in the line up that appeared to be a police line up in a New York Police precinct. I'm sorry, but maybe one or two of the other individuals who did not contribute to the discussion might have been normal human beings! I couldn't believe that such an abortion to civil liberties and the rights guaranteed to us by the Bill of Rights could exist. I am going to continue to review the movement of that council (I refuse to call it a government) in hopes that things may change for you folks. I wish that there was something that I could do for you today but, I'm still just a citizen and not an elected servant as I soon hope to be.

Good luck with your struggle and let me know how it is going. And good luck to Mr. Shaver, he is a true gentleman and a patriot.

Mr. Noll,

Having not made up my mind who to vote for in your race, I have to say that I am probably leaning your way. I assure you I won't vote for kiger and might not vote for you. If you consider not voting for kiger a vote for you then so be it.

Anyway, to help me make up my mind, let me ask you what you think you CAN do for Pickerington if you are elected. We have one long year left to suffer the indignity of these apes representing us on council. Well, actually parker says they represent themselves in case you don?’t get the Pickerington papers. What can you, as a County Commissioner do to stop the blatant city killing in progress here? Can you do anything to cage the apes for the last year before our city has the coffin lid nailed shut and we are six feet under?

Speaking of caging ?– can anyone tell me why the persons charged with contempt of court are still free and running our streets? If I was charged the same, I expect I would have been brought before the judge by now. Why are they above the law?
