Quite frankly I think when you have the situation we are facing there are a lot of frustrations & people want/need a chance to vent. This happens in all types of settings - schools, businesses, etc. That was true when we were getting petitions signed as well. You just don't focus on it - listen, filter out good information that may help get you to the next step & keep moving.
You are right in that everyone I have talked to wants to make the Community better - remember that & if you're somewhere where a tangent has started it's like anything else - try to move the conversation back on track & keep moving forward.
But that's not a good enough reason to not be involved. People won't agree with everything - if you don't like someones tactics but their heart is in the right place. Work toward moving in a positive direction.
That's the only way we're going to see improvement. And I believe progress is being made - it's just not all posted on the site right now.
