I see in the Lancaster paper that United Health Care has dropped the Fairfield Medical Hospital from it's coverage. Isn't United Health one of the largest health insurance companies in the state?

Hello Susan Crotty. You out there? Whouldn't it be nice to a medical center here in Pickerington????

Is this the oportunity you have been waiting on? Didn't we just annex 300 plus acres south of Pickerington? Would the best use of that land or at l;east some of it be a hospital? Maybe we could build it to look like 687 homes you know a campus style. Oh that's right some idiots ran a referendum on it and we can't do anything with until after November. If it wasn't for these selfesh zealots you would have already had a proposal in the works to bring that hospital to Pickerington. Maybe we could pick up some people fom Lancaster needing medical care. Maybe this kind of commercial is too dirty for some. Maybe too much nosie from the emergency vehicles driving by. Oh that's right they already race up and down hill road. Maybe we could employee some of the citizens of Pickerington in this place and take some of the traffic off of those heading up to work and Mount Carmel East.

Oh I'm sorry what a very stupid idea on my part. Daryl doens't own the proerty and there is not time for him to buy it and get it rezoned before the Lancaster Hospital crisis is over. Sorry what was I thinking??

BMW

I understand also that BMW is some kind of finanical group located in Dublin. They are thinking about moving because Dublin wants them to conform to their sign regulations. So they are looking for a place to relocate. This is nearly 400 jobs. Wouldn't this look nice right next to this Hospital that we will never have? Just because of a sign. Oh what was I thinking. Have any of you seen that outragious sign that the Dairy Queen has?? Isn't about the either take that sign down or move to Obetz where it would bother those Hillbillies. Oh I forgot Obetz already has a Dairy Queen. They also a number of warehouses and business buildings. Isn't there an office park that Susan Crotty claimed to help develop in Obetz? At least that is what she claimed on her resume. Isn't UPS there?

Tell me again why is was good to develop commercial property in Obetz and those same buildings and businesses are yuking here? Do they pay taxes to the Hamilton Local Schools? They also have a couple of Hotels don't they? Didn't they also have a moritorium on housing starts about a year or so ago?

Nothin to do today just thinking out loud on a keyboard. To bad my microphone was not on.

Build a school here

I heard that the Catholic dioceses was considering building a new high in the Pickerington Area. They were probably having trouble getting their students to class on time considering the time on the highway. Wouldn't it be neat to see a new High School built in a place of where they have recently platted the land to build thousands of new homes. Would our Advocates for growth Council approve a zoning change to accommodate a new school?

Why don't we reserve enough land to allow a new branch university to build and teach college classes? We currently have Ohio University. Instead of our students heading for Europe after they graduate why not attend a branch of Columbus State, Franklin University, Ohio State University and maybe they might consider having a branch of the Ohio Dominican. Did I spell that right? Is that Ohio Dominican or Ohio Dominion? I am sure all of these university would welcome a chance to expand their student base.

Just consider this:

The Douglas Borror school of mortgage finance.

The John Bain Hall of environmental studies.

The Doug Yoakum Family Library

How about the Schott center East?

The Lee Gray school of Criminology and sobriety check points.

Randall Hughes school of Government.

Obviously we would not receive Real Estate taxes from this type of project but it might help the school system and this property would not be supplying pupils to the schools.

Maybe this would be too much trouble for us. Look at all the problems they have in Athens, Ohio around Halloween. Look at all the problems they have in Columbus after OSU beat michigan.
