No idea why she was happy, but the way that all happened did leave me skeptical.

Let's just say it hasn't changed my support of Ted Hackworth's moratorium proposal, or my sponsorship of the recall of those on our council.

I guess we'll all see how it plays out. If it's all smoke and mirrors, that will come out as folks continue to demand the detail.

By the way, I'll be writing some letters to local papers noting that our council intentionally sabotaged the school levy. Would it not have made 266 votes difference if they had passed the moratorium one week earlier? It wouldn't have changed my vote, and I'm glad the levy failed, but if they can ''spin'' then so can I.

I don't recommend any let up in the pressure. If council really wanted to cooperate, they would have done it a long time ago.
