Issues Not People

Dr. Pepper,

Please refrain from advocating violence or bodily harm to anyone on a public website, no matter how much you dislike the politics that person.

Secondly, please try to stick to the issues. What has the board majority done to contain costs at the new facilities? What has the board majority done to ensure equal facilities? What has the board majority done to get public input into the FY 04 budget? What has the board majority done to involve the public in anything? Is there a finance committee or not? What is the projected financial deficit of our district? Why haven't they posted the budget on their website?

I think those issues are far more important to the public than what happened to Hank.

Mark - you have done nothing but slam Wes, Bruce & Gail - for something quite frankly they didn't support.

The School complex was orchestrated by Lori Sanders, Debbie Callier & Larry Sigman.

Talk issues if you want but place the credit in the right spots. These School Board members have been silent & mostly absent from the Council Meetings that have placed the schools in emergency. I've always wondered why?? Have they been bought & paid for by Postage too ??

School Emergency

The previous posting referred to the 'school (financial) emergency we are in. Just to set the record straight, PLSD does not qualify to have an emergency levy on the ballot like New Albany did in February, 2003. By the way, voters in that school district approved their emergency operating levy WITHOUT any scare tactics and threats made by their board of education.

Maybe Monhollen, Oakes and/or Rigelman would like to explain why we do not qualify for an emergency school operating levy at this time.
