Rome is Burning Folks


I am rather surprised by the intelligent discussions on this website. While our schools face massive financial problems and our community is being swamped by new homes, most on this website including elected officials want to talk about spitting in faces, poison letters, and people in Chicago.

Well, if you haven't noticed folks, Rome is burning. With outstanding media coverage, the entire State of Ohio knows Rome is burning and all some folks want to talk about is 3 year old documents in Chicago.

Let's talk about tax reform and tax fairness? Is our State of Ohio tax structure fair to busineses in a community? Is it fair to tax manufacturers within a community to support schools and not tax home builders?

Let's stop the petty stuff and talk about long-term solutions to our community.

Anyone ready for a good-old fashion debate on the fairness of our current property tax system to our schools? I'm ready.

Now you want to talk issues

When someone wants to kick your ass you then want to talk issues. Maybe we just learned something folks. We need a black pickup parked down the street from Mark to keep him shut up.

Mark you are damaged for good and the best you can do for this school district is to shut up for ever. You have nothing of value to add to anything. You have been shown to be a lair, and you engage in personal attacks on this web site far too often. Nothing you say will change most of our minds. You are not to be trusted and that does more harm to the schools than all of the other people that post here. For the good of the schools fade away.

Tax Reform v. Black Trucks


Thats' fine. You can talk all you want about black trucks parked down the street from my house.

I will continue to discuss public input into the board's decision-making process, tax reform and the value of extracurricular activities.

That's what makes America great. Freedom of Speech. So we are both free to speak ... you about black trucks and me about tax reform.
