Marcy Raymond's extensive background will be an asset to the Pickerington school board. Currently senior program officer for the Knowledge Works Foundation, Marcy Raymond is a former teacher, principal, and program director for Ohio State's Principal Leadership Academy.

She has taught principals throughout Ohio how to be more cost efficient and effective in their jobs. As a teacher, Marcy Raymond taught and worked as a director of gifted education.

On our board, Marcy Raymond will help the Pickerington community band together and work for the kids. She will listen to residents, evaluate options and then decide policies. Marcy Raymond has the skills to listen and the ability to make wise decisions.

Marcy Raymond will help establish a vision for our district, and meet the demands of education WITHIN THE RESOURCES WE HAVE.

What has Marcy Raymond done to address the school funding issue that places an ever-increasing tax burden on homeowners, yet permits developers/homebuilders get off Scott-free? Has Ms. Raymond lobbied the statehouse to change the school funding formula or advocated impact fees on homebuilders? Our district's problems are caused by rapid residential development... What experience does she have in addressing these issues? Will she address these issues? That's the most important credential for me. Thanks.
