I want to applaud Gail Oakes and Dr. Bruce Rigelman for at least having some principals by voting to not accept the $375,000 bribe offered to and accepted by the Pickerington Local School Board last night.
It appears that good old Wes Monhollen says he has integrity but can?’t seem to see the problem with accepting this donation with the strings that were attached. The presenter even called Lou Postage the ?“Education Mayor?”. This has nothing to do with education it has to do with a bribe of public officials in public and some are too dumb to realize what they are doing.
Remember last spring when the levy failed and Mark Uher paraded into Heritage Elementary during the school board meeting and made a big deal about the extracurricular activities being cut? He sat among a group impressionable 18 year olds showing them how government ?“works?”. I believe they call this the setup in the con game.
Then comes the big news and that was the $600,000 donation announced by Mr. ?“Integrity?” Wes Monhollen. When the money never came he said he took the man?’s word for it and that was good enough for him. Continuing on with the con Wes speaks in front of the City Council to support a Community Authority that would have allowed 4300 more homes into the district. (None of the city council candidates running now are in favor of the Community Authority.) This was to prop up Wes?’ friend Lou Postage for Mayor. Let?’s call Lou the Growth Mayor.
The letter that was attached and sent to Lori Sanders had strings attached that the $375,000 would come once they had a favorable zoning decision by the City Zoning appeals board. That happened this summer and one of those on the board voting in favor for the zoning variance was city council candidate Jack Bowman. Jack now says he is for controlled growth. He seemed to have no problems approving 250 more housing units into this city. He didn?’t care that in 1997 there was commercial property promised for this project by the same person offering the bribe.
So why would Lou Postage be at the School Board Meeting last night other than to trick more people into believing he really cares. How many of these people in the athletic boosters and school board are just stupid or are they part of the conspiracy? This whole scam was orchestrated by Lou Postage, Mark Uher and Wes Monhollen.
It will probably be yet another lie put on this community and we will all be paying for it. Mark Uher has stated on this web site that he favors low density housing (2 lots per acre) yet he participates in a plot to bring in 250 more HIGH DENSITY housing units. I haven?’t heard Mark abject to these apartments. Maybe he thinks this is the quality commercial like Parker thinks it is.

As far as Lou goes I just wonder who the insurer is of this new condo project that will cost us all. Could they inflate the insurance value to get a higher commission?
