I need some help, here-- Where do Shankland and Wieniewski truly stand on the issue of growth? Riggs and Hackworth already will get my vote, but I am unsure between the two candidates I just mentioned. Any help here?

Brian W (not going to attempt to spell his last name)is on the same page as Riggs and Hackworth. They are all endorsed by the Republican Club of Northwest Fairfield county. If you have the latest issue of the Times-Sun, there is a half page ad on page 5. Hope that helps. By City Resident |

Both are for slow growth
Dear Voter, Both can be said to be for slow growth. However Brian Wisniewski has spoke out at council meetings and has circulated petitions in trying to slow this growth. I have found nothing wrong with either candidate but Brian Wisniewski seems to have a much better grasp of the issues at this point. I believe Diane Shankland will continue her efforts to get on council and we will see how willing she is to campaign and get herself into a position to serve on Council. I beleive Brian Wisniewski is ready to serve on council come January first. Both are an improvement over what we currently have. I beleive that Brian is ahead of Diane Shankland in name recognition and if you truely want change then don't waste your vote on Mrs. Shankland this time and support Brian Wisniewski so we can have a larger vote total and hopefully he edges out Chris Smith. |
