here is why

To get the infamous John Conner as judge.
Bad move BIA

Let me get this straight. The BIA and their builder supporters have filed a suit against the City of Pickerington. They are talking about the two lots per acre being retro active and that the moratorium is illegal. Apparently they didn?’t know they had it so good. Clearly they had the previous City Manager, Mayor and Council majority in their pocket.

Now in a desperate move they think they are going to intimidate the rookie councilpersons just elected and make them fold and give them what they want just because they have sued the city. As Ernest used to say, ?“Do we have stupid written all over our face?”? I know at least two of these new councilpersons and I know for a fact they will not back down in this fight. It is probably a piss poor move on the part of the BIA for any future public relations with either the school board or the new city government. Clearly accepting large bribes in exchange for zoning variances will not work come January first.

Certainly by sueing the city they are not endearing themselves to the residents and I am sure this new government will lead the charge in defending the city and go after the BIA and its members. I don?’t think any punches will be pulled come January in regard to the BIA and their tactics.

Even if the BIA wins do they think they are going to break the will of these newly elected leaders of this community by this suit? Think again Tom Hart of Dominion. If you think the moratorium is bad now wait till these new guys get in the majority. At least now you have your 600 building permits and you are still allowed to build your 100 homes.

How does zero homes sound for about 3 years?

Zero Homes for 3 Years

I guess the answer to your question about zero homes for 3 years in Pickerington is up to Judge Connor in Franklin County and not up to David, Ted, Rita & Lisa.

Pretty smart move on the BIA part.

Let's recall Connor now. Start the petitions, Rita & Lisa.
