Some are Gone
As noted above, Fed Up, some are gone already. I voted not to renew the contract of another, but was outvoted. Hopefully, this time around, that individual's contract will not be renewed.

Whoa there, Mouse
I'm just asking questions, Mouse. I'm taking no positions. No sense insulting me (though I do find the idea of spending all my time gardening quite attractive).
I'm hoping that, with a bit of dialogue on these issues, some of us at least could come to a consensus. We voters cannot influence these decisions unless we have consistent and coherent recommendations.
I take it that you, at least, would not support building a new stadium at PHS Central -- that you are satisfied with the one that we have. I also take it that you favor smaller, single-story elementaries, and are willing to pay for them. What do others think?
Would you favor designing them to reduce their cost, rather than using the Tussing, Harmon, Diley model? How about using any left over bond proceeds to pay debt service on the bonds, thereby returning these funds to us taxpayers?

Setting the record straight
Dear any mouse
I hate to be the burst your bubble but you are wrong about the voting in the PLSD.
In November 2, 2004 PLSD ran a 2.7 mil levy for 28 years and it failed in the following precincts:
Pickerington A thru J All
Violet Twp A thru R ALL
Columbus A, B C, D, and F Most
It failed in Liberty A and D
Passed only in Columbus E
The margins are so great in each and every precinct I doubt you could find any kind of trend like you suggest.

What message did we send?
You are right in your reporting of the results. I'm wondering what message we sent the school board?
That levy in Nov '04 was created by the school board and was very different from what has been asked any other time. It was the first time the school board asked the taxpayers to consider additions to elementary and middle schools and one new building. It contained more educational space for less money than the one in front of us now.
And what did we tell them? HELL NO !!!!!
Do you wonder why they don't know what we want? Hell, we don't know what we want. We are never happy - it is always wrong. No one wants to step up to run for the office. We just want to sit back and bitch about what we don't see.
