During the last week of August, our Chas Roberts refrigeration unit stopped blowing cool air as a result of a freon leak. The 1-year warranty expired by 5 months (and we regretedly didn't purchase the extension), so we were stuck with a $450 bill which we are disputing.
We know of a few neighbors who have had the same or similar problems. Due to some shocking information I've learned, I have sought legal counsel and am prepared to take further legal action against the unit manufacturer and Chas Roberts.
