I understand the value of keeping up property values, but this idea of everyone painting their block wall is beyond my understanding of maintaing property values...especially if the wall doesn't need painting ( not cracked, faded, etc). I went to the annual meeting and the turn out was dismal ( to put it mildly ) there was a survey in the last newsletter asking if we thought painting the walls of our property would increase property value...the vote was 49 thought it would make no difference and 40 thought it would only 89 families responded, but still this board thinks painting our fences mocha brown or main color of home is mandatory or face a $50 fine.
Can someone please show me in the CC&R where it is written about the color of the fences, I understand houses have to be kept uniform in color and it protects the values, but i don't understand the block fence angle of thinking.
Why do a survey, if you are not going to honor the majority of respondents
