What will it take for the people of Pico del Mar Neighborhood to come out and participate in their community?
Money? Time? What will it take? This community is changing constantly and people are on the go. Too busy to say and too busy to participate in their communities resident group meeting.
I will never understand why someone would move into a community and not want to participate.
I've been the President of this Association for one year and to date I can count on one hand how many people are really interested in where they live.
Family is important and spending quality time with our family is most important but living in a safe, quiet, and beautiful community comes not by sitting on the sidelines waiting for someone else to fix the problems you see that they do not.
I love my family and my community but I wish I knew all of the people in my community regardless of race, religion, and national origin. I don't care if you're Black, White, or Latino or Latina, I'd like to get to know you.
