Or, in my case...time for beddy-by since davie cannot answer any questions put to him. Goodnight all.

Hi TPSmile

I see your point and ordinarily I'd agree and do wish it were that simple. I mean lets face it, one major operation and even with coverage most are bankrupted. Of course we need a major revamping of the way medicine is charged and profiteering is uncontrolled. The bigger picture here is that the main focus in the first place to revamp this mess::: was because so many cannot afford coverage. I find it more than a double standard? if you will, that our government has acknowledged that so many are broke and unable to buy it in the first place, so they saw a way to help? but then say we'll fine you if you don't buy it. I think it's a back door pathway to run a single payer system, since they are planning to subsidize those who are too broke to be able to buy it. It just doesn't make any sense to suggest forcing those to buy it when they are the ones who cannot afford it in the first place, while those who can afford it already have it. Even if it's deemed constitutional I cannot see how that ads up. But I doubt very much it is constitutional.

It had no business in the bill in the first place. As BB said, and agreed, the federal gov. doesn't, or shouldn't have the authority to mandate and enforce that slippery slope. All the while ignoring the very reasons so many are jobless and broke. Too late to change strategy there, but while they are high fiving each other over this uncertain victory, they should be doing something immediately in the jobs arena but are not. I cannot understand how these highly educated lawyers and liars don't see how we got here and have not put those devastating job killers on the repeal table months ago. It's almost like a strategy to keep the pigs in the pen::: hungry, and dependant upon the good will of the already over taxed backbone of America. I'm just fed up with it. Term limits and hourly pay for these bums.

Lucy.
