The so called monuments stating our neighborhood still stand incomplete.  You state that you do not want to  be associated with Gann Ranch when you try to sell your home.  Honestly every subdivison has the good and the bad areas.  You look at the older homes and still see that people haven taken great pride in keeping up the home.  There are the ones that do bring the "look" down, but as a neighborhood in all it is still a great one to live in.

 

 You state that our neighborhood is of a higher standard, who makes that decision?  Anyway you spin it that is a very judgemental statement.  Are we a higher standard because the size of the houses?  Or do you feel it is because you may have paid more for your house?  Yep our neighborhood is at a high standard when you get to drive around and see a water treatment storage facility.  Yep real high standard.  All I see is people who think they are better.

 

The one common issue that I can really agree with is the HOA and Developers.  The developers need to go and go soon.  I have attended the meetings, I have voiced my opinion at these meetings and personally spoke with board members.  I have attempted to do so in a manner that items can be discussed, but always get the same closed minded approach.  We have actually had to escort one of them off our property one evening as they felt they could just walk in to our garage while we were in there.  They felt that the had the right to do so and even told us "Do you know I am on the Board and I can fine you?"  This board member may have had a bit of earlier entertainment that gave them the courage to do so, but they were also kindly reminded DO NOT STEP FOOT ON MY PROPERTY without being invited.  

I DONT KNOW WHO YOU ARE, BUT YOU STILL DIDNT GIVE ME YOUR NAME.  YOU KNOW ME, BUT YOU DO NOT SAY WHO YOU ARE.   I WONT TALK TO SOMEONE ONLINE WHO DOESNT IDENTIFY THEMSELVES.  

 

EMAIL THE DIRECTORS IF YOU WANT THE MONUMENTS DONE.  I DID MY JOB MY PUTTING THEM THERE.  NEXT BOARDS JOB TO DRESS THEM UP.

 

AGAIN, YOU WANNA TALK TELL ME WHO YOU ARE AND DONT STAND  BEHIND A SCREEN NAME...

 

 

I know who no@ch is now.  The good news is my friend Korker Custom Homes is now in the subdivision.  He is building a house on Wheaton.  Yahoooo it will be beautiful and he will continue to build as long as he can sell.  It was improve our neighborhood tenfold.  They have also started the monument landscaping.  Congrats to Keith and Vivian Land....Things are looking up.....yahooooo

So you think you know who I am good for you. I'm glad we have a different builder in here, but yet one house won't change much. As long as eaglewood has any role we are outnumbered. If the new builder is helping with the signs more power to them. We still are forced to spend money on nothing in return. The HOA worries more about trashcans and satellite dishes than people with basketball hoops up. Or even better yet kids riding up on people's grass and porches. The HOA needs to decrease rates or give us something in return. The rate we are going this is going to feel like an apartment complex in no time. An HOA should be doing things to help the community not get in the way or have a hand in our pockets. Why not do something about the people who water every other day so they can have a green lawn. Last time I checked our lake is very low and yet our community continues to have people watering every other day. You can see the waste by the run off from this. Even with the new builder the values will not increase like you want when you have a water treatment plant and tower sitting on the edge of the community.
