Kachina
Kachina's contract according to the February financials is 69,000/year. We are not getting what we pay for.
Attendance at HOA meetings is always going to be an issue. It is easy to complain that get involved for some people. However, if people paid close attention to where the money goes they might take more of an interst.
Also, how are we supposed to know when this Board meets. I have lived here for a year and have NOT one time received notification about any meeting, monthly, quarterly or the annual. That is a problem. If people don't know how can the Board expect them to attend? Why not do something? We used to have these small sandwich type boards that were dry erase and we'd lock them on a stop sign or post at the entrances of the subdivision a week before every meeting announcing the date/time and location. That was a tremendous help and encouraged people to attend. Its a small outlay in the beginning to get a bigger ROI in the future.
