Can't we find a better thing to do with $250,000 dollars than this? The fences don't need replacing after 2 years. Besides, concrete fences look much more urban and absorb and radiate much more heat than their wooden counterparts. Who is related to the concrete fence builder anyway?

GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT
Maybe you've only lived here two years, but are fences are older than that. The newest portion is over three years old with the oldest section being almost five years old. These fences were built of the cheapest wood available and weren't treated by the developer. The poles are not very deep in many places. The developer tore them down and put them back up multiple times as they were building. The fences make our neighborhood look tacky and need to be replaced soon. As they exist they lower our property values. Just because you aren't ethical, don't think that the men and women of this neighborhood who give freely of their time to make it a better place have the same low standards.

What is the plan?
Where do we stand with regard to these fences?

higher property value!
Although the cost would be high on the installation, I really feel it would increase our property values plus make the subdivision look much nicer. Point taken on the heat retention.
