All-

I completely appreciate everyone's frustration over the pond, but it is quite concerning that so much time and effort is being spent on something that seems so minor.  If all of this energy could be funneled towards the crime that continually is occurring in our neighborhood we would probably see a significant decrease in the number of incidents.  I don't want to offend anyone, but it just seems like we are focusing on the wrong thing.  Instead of being angry over who can or can not use the pond, we should be angry that people feel that they can come into our neighborhood and commit crimes.  Just my two cents.

i find it hard to believe that adults are acting so childish.we sound like children that have not learned to share. can't you hear them now "thats mine" 'NO THATS MINE" AND WE WONDER WHY OUR CHILDREN ACT LIKE THEY DO. they learn what they live

Why don't you start of new thread regarding crime.  This one is in regards to the Pond.  Obviously there is so much time and effort spent on this subject because it is a concern to many residents.    If you don't want to focus on it - then don't.   Post under crime.  Just my two cents.

I agree - two bordering neighborhoods that can not use the same facilites because one neighborhood wont share.  I still want to understand the effect of the insurance policy here and I won't be satisfied until I know for a fact that that is the reason the entire neighborhood can not use that pond and if that is the reason,  is there adjustments that can be made to the policy so we can use the pond and who has the right to approve the policy.   Also,  I am still waiting for answers from RTHA regarding the park at the end of San Joaquin.  You posted that it was a City Park.  With that being said,  then anyone can use it - it is open to the public..correct?  Also,  who mows it and takes care of the trash cans?   Those are some easy questions for the RTHA.
