By feeding the coyote's, you're encouraging them to stay rather than move on. Hence, they get hit by cars on the road, get into peoples garbage, tear up gardens, kill small pets etc.
These critters are not pets.

Again, I compare them to any other pests. They do not need to be moved. Would you corral a thousand rats and then turn them loose somewhere else? Coyotes are not even close to being endangered. Yes, Urban sprawl encroaches on the habitats of wild animals. This is not a new pheonomenon. It's not going to stop and there's nothing you can do about it, except be angry. Good luck explaining how your feeding of the coyotes was a good thing when one kills a neighbors dog or cat, or worse. |

They are certainly not pests. I love hearing them at night. They were here long before us. We've invaded their territory. Have some compassion man!!! |
