River Trails Homeowners Association

So, where is our Citizen on Patrol leader?  What information is she keeping form us?  I find it very disturbing that she is no longer posting on this board after being so vocal before getting elected to the RTHA board.   Why is she not posting information to us to help keep crime out of our neighborhood? 

Wondering if a neighborhood could vote for mandatory dues?  I am sure we would have to have petitions to put up gates just like speed bumps and perhaps mandatory dues as well?  Will the new neighborhood on Trinity have gates?  I would imagine that they too will feel crime spreading to their neighborhood as the homes are more expensive.  I would think that with so much crime happening,  our HOA would hold a meeting to talk to residents about what we can do to help make this neighborhood safe?  The new president?  Where is he in all of this?  And I agree,  where is the COP? I know we have one,  I have seen them patrol a few times.

And weren't the LAST 2 BURGLARIES in the Lakes?  Well guess what...they HAVE MANDATORY DUES!!! Didn't help them!!!

Would mandatory dues keep the psycho SOB from pulling a gun on a teenage girl that lives here?  He has freaking camera's everywhere WTF is he mentally challenged?

And as far as the fence...the neighborhood is 70% signed and half of us haven't even gotten our full bonus, I say the HOA get on their A**es!  (oh wait...it's not Cheaha anymore all bets are off!)

LOL Candy-O.  My thoughts were that if mandatory dues meant putting up gates or installing any kind of security feature whether it be security patrol or whatever,  it would be worth it.  Of course -  it would also depend on what that amount would be.  We are not rich folk over here!   Peace of mind for my house and my family might just be worth it.  Perhaps mandatory dues would be something that the man by the park would not want to pay and therefore move?  Yes, he does have camera's.  I am sure for protection and possibly to spy on ATV's passing by on their way to the trails.   Does anyone know when the wall is suppose to be built or is it only when 100% are signed?  If it has taken this long,  that wall is not going to be built.  We need to think of better solutions.  Ones we can do as a community that doesn't rely on promises.  Any suggestions?
