River Trails Homeowners Association

During the night last night (3/29-3/30) someone broke into my husbands car on Saranac Trail.  They tossed around all of the papers and ended up taking his cell phone (Verison Motorola Droid, in case that's relevant).  There was nothing else in the car and the phone was out of site.  He always locks his car doors, as do I. My car wasn't touched.

 

Two weeks ago, we ordered a cord for my video camera - it was left on the porch.  Someone took that as well.

 

Has this now become a bad neighborhood to live in with all the crime happening?  Not including what happens that neighbors don't post.

 

 

Did you file a report with the police? Any updates?

My husband's truck was stolen out of our drive way on Sabinas Trial the night/morning 3/29-3/30.  In the 6 years we've lived in River Trails my car was broken into when we first moved in and now this.

The week before Christmas, a $350 item was stolen off my front porch that was left there by the mailmain while I was home!  Around that time also, our truck was broken into, nothing was taken (there's nothing in our truck to take) but the door was left wide open!  Last April or May, my husband's work truck had the lock cut off of it, and all his tools were stolen.  The same day, the neightbor's garage was broken into.  I am not sure what's happening, but I've lived here 9 years and nothing has ever happen like this, and this past year has been AWFUL.  There is a guy that lives on the end of our street that i know was recently let out of jail, and he was sent there for breaking and entering...I cannot help but wonder if this has something to do with it?
