Hi,
I'm a first time homebuyer as well and moved in Apr 2006 into the community. My 11 month walk through was literally a 30 second meeting with the Pulte Community mananager at the time. My walk through lengths were getting shorter and shorter as they approached the 11 month and late in the day(6p).
The unit turned out well with the exception of a very few minor things. Everything but 1 item fixed which I resolving myself, so to me, I guess the walk throughs weren't as important as getting issues resolved by Pulte.
I guess my point is that for a peace of mind, I just consider it part of a their checklist that they had to do but had no quality or value in their minds.

Pizza and driveway alterations
Hi Rick,
I received a letter on my front door regarding the rock removal from our driveway. It was removed the next day or two.
In regards to the pizza, we've received all the pizza's we've phoned in the order for from Pulte. I'm not certain for sure, but I think they only delivered if someone was at home. 2 Pulte guys came in the 5:30-6:45p time frame

David, Good to see you posting here. I wish more people would start posting.
I didn't receive a letter on my door about the rock. My house was one of the first to have the rock removed, so they may have skipped giving us one.
I'm glad to hear that someone has gotten some pizza. Pulte had another chance to include my family in last weeks Pizza night. Despite calling 5 days ahead, telling them how many times they've stood us up and kindly asking them not to let my kids down again, my family was once again left off the delivery list. If my memory still works, I believe this is the 6th time they missed me. We've always been home during the delivery too. In fact, my kids always waited by the door each time, watching the precious few pies get handed out to other residents. Poor little kids. How cruel.
Seriously though, we just laugh about it. It's not a huge deal to us, it's just funny to talk about because it's the perfect example of certain things we've been expecting in our house in relation to what Pulte ultimately delivered. And then when they repeatedly talk about how successful it was and all the great feedback they've received... I just have to laugh.

Pizza and customer service
Hello Rick,
Sorry to hear about your pizza not showing up again. Don't worry, you're not missing much. I'm not sure who's running the shop at Pulte right now, but there's a new community manager for Grayson Park. I think we're on #3 now since the community opened. His name is Gil. Didn't get his last name though. If you want his phone #, let me know. I had a kitchen tile that wasn't set correctly and he had someone come out and fix it way beyond the 11 month time frame. Maybe #3 is better.
