Why do residents keep dead palms in yards, neglect mowing lawns, and live in houses that have not been painted for years in Sharpstown CCT3. This community was once a very beautiful community. We need to enforce deed restrictions. One house on Pella has rotted doors with the bottom panels rotted completely through. Inoperable cars have been parked on the driveway for ten years or more. Potted shrubs have been dying on the driveway since last spring. In CCT3 at two police notices are in other yards for abandoned, unkempt property. I researched the property at HCAD. The owner lives in California.
I am glad to see that the yard across from Ed White Elementary School has been mowed. All summer the windows facing the school were covered with sheets, not even matching sheets! A miniblind fell and was left just as it fell. Now matching blinds are on the windows. Why did it take months to fix the problem?
Houses are slow to sell in SCCT3. Property values are low. No wonder. We have allowed derelict homeowners and renters to dictate our sales and devalue our property. Speak up, neighbors. Speak up, please.
