COMMUNITY WELCOME LETTER 

 Dear Neighbor:

        The Sheffield Woods Community Assoc would like to officially welcome you to our community. The association is a voluntarily supported association whose purpose is to help in    resolving problems and be an official spokesman for our community to the city of Indianapolis.    Sheffield Woods has approximately 250 homes and consists of Pawnee Dr. on the east Fairhaven Dr. on the west, and bordered by 30^th and 25^th Street.

        We have meetings periodically during the year, and will have the meetings posted on a billboard sign at 25^th and Sheffield.  Also we encourage you to enroll on our e-mail listing. Once on the list, we will send you periodic updates and alerts concerning any crime issues or news that will be of interest to you.

     We encourage all residence to be proactive in crime prevention. (1) When not at home, put on a light, turn on a radio; make it look like someone is at home.  Most break-ins occur in the day time, when a burglar figures no one is home. (2) Be observant: if something doesn’t look right, it probably isn’t.  Call 911.   If you know of a crime that has occurred, please call us at 403-3476 or email us at sheffieldwoods@sbcglobal.net.
