My next-door neighbor just informed me that her daughter and another boy were recently attacked on Pawnee Drive by a black-and-white pit bull terrier, while on her way to catch her school bus. I'm told that the boy managed to escape injury by leaping on top of a nearby car, however the young girl wasn't as fortunate. The dog ran away when another car approached. Her bruises required medical attention. Animal Control was contacted, and the neighborhood is now on a 10-day watch.
