The Williams Corporation Natural Gas Pumping Station has recently announced the need for expansion to install four large cooling fans. Neighbors have expressed concerns about the pumping station in the past. An emergency evacuation plan was created for nearby residents, but high on their list of worries are the possible escape of toxic (mercury) emissions, a very noisy pipe cleaning process, potential damage to endangered species and additional noise from the proposed cooling fans continue to be of interest to neighbors.
