I do honestly think all of this seed hump issue is senseless.  I walked Bellemeade Road and North Chadwick Road today and I can see why the Chadwick people are upset.  I can throw a rock the length of that first block of Bellemeade and it has TWO speed humps!  WOW!  The speed humps on North Chadwick are only a nuisance to the speeders.  They are way too far apart!  Each block needs one more.

I also sat in my car on Sothampton facing North Chadwick during rush hour from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm and saw what looked like a track meet with cars.  Those idiot drivers come off Shelbyville Road onto North Chadwick with the pedal to the metal.  I don't blame those folks for asking for help. Yep reba, I was there on your corner and I saw one speeder and another and another and another and another and another and ............ - looked like a train.  Damn!!!! (bleep).

Mr Mayor, you said you delivered a copy of the regulation to the gentleman who requested it.  Don't you have a scanner?  Just scan the part about 1200 feet between humps and post it on here.  How hard is that?  Larry, I am disappointed at the defensive position you have taken on this issue (which should not even be an issue).

Yes, the debate is senseless.  Look out for the people; put in two more humps.  Come on City Commission, stand and deliver.
