Anonymous, read further....

....in the thread. You will see that I am ''chilled'', as Raymond cleared up the misunderstanding. It is called communication. If people can do that, they can work out just about anything.

To respond to your suggestion that ''Maybe you might have Sandy tell others about this site so the few can write...'', I would say: If you want to suggest something to Sandy, do it yourself. I don't say that with a harsh ''tone'', fyi (the internet and it's tonelessness strikes again *lol*). I just notice that a lot of people in the 'hood have ideas or things they would like to see changed, etc., but they want others to take the action for them. If you have a suggestion or idea for the Prez, by all means, make it yourself. He is very accessible and a good listener, I find.

P.S. I've suggested in the past

...that the link for this site, as well as info. on how to join the HK e-list which was supposed to replace this board, be a standard little blurb in the newsletter each month. I think both communication venues are under-utilized and making them known in the newsletter would get the word out. In the past, it was voted on to do away with this board and just have the e-list, but that never happened, just as I notice that several things that were voted on in that era never were carried out, or were done differently than voted on, for better or for worse. But we won't go THERE. So, since it was voted on to do away with this site, and I believed that was going to take place, my original suggestion may just have been to promote the e-list in the newsletter--I don't remember, but since this site is still here and apparently isn't going anywhere, I think both should be promoted in the newsletter, as both are good communication venues. Also, any person just joining the association should be asked if they want to be added to the e-list at that point. I've suggested that, too, at a meeting. I don't know if that suggestion is or is not being done now. So, when you say, why don't you suggest such and such, my response is: I have suggested things that I wanted to suggest, and as it happens, it is basically what you suggest I suggest. If you have things you want suggested, suggest 'em. Did I use the word ''suggest'' enough in the last two sentences? Whew! :D
But..........

As I've said, they would rather this site went away.

You must be wrong......

our CPO says ''All is good. All is quiet. Nothing to see here.'' Where have I seen that before.
I've been down this road before. As the city crime watch cop even said, it has to separate from the association.
