between what lines

Hey jethro, sorry I mean anonymous, thanks. If you gave up on the confederate lingo maybe we all could understand what's between the lines. At this point I'm still wondering if there is anything between the ears.

Hey whats going on??

BOY HOWDY I'LL TELL YOU I LEAVE FOR JUST A LITTLE WHILE AND THE OL' WEBSITE REALLY HEATS UP. Two discussions with 29 replys boy o' boy. Just quite possibly it may be prudent for everyone to settle down and realize that we all live here for a variety of different reasons but I assume (you know ass out of u and me) that we do have some things in common. we want a safe place for our kids and loved ones. we want our property values to go up . we want our neighbors to take care of their houses and yards.
Personally if someone (contractor) has bought into this neighborhood just to remodel and move on than they can just move on as I don't see them contributing to the ''neighborhood'' other than to line their own pockets. If they are living here and working to better the whole neighborhood then welcome but working for just a profit makes them a leech because they don't care about us or our problems.
Traffic has always been a problem and will never be solved to everyones satisfaction. It will be an on going process that will evolve into a safer neighborhood.
Drugs and prostitution have benn around for ever and belive me used to be a lot worse as some other 6-10 year residents will attest to. The only way to make it better and keep it better is proactive neighbors who make dealing unsafe and /or unprofitable by calling the police, leaving your porch light on, confronting unknown people(carefully if you feel unsure call police), being visiblly aware of your block, and just maybe meet and know everyone on your block. Dealers don't want to know you and if you say ''hello how ya doing'' enough they will probably move. Their customers are not their neighbors. They don't want to know you and will be uncomfortable by the attention and move. MAYBE. Use your own judgement but be proactive. THE SUEAKY WHEEL GETS THE GREASE. CALL THE POLICE.
Clubs and other activities are not for everyone but people should be put down because they belong or promote them. If you feel there is a ''click'' ruling Kenwood and you don't like then GET INVOLVED AND CHANGE IT. I know that many of the people that may be viewed as in the ''click'' would gladly step aside and let someone else do the work of running our association and organizing bungalow fest and other activities. No one seems to step up to the plate so they do it out of love for the Neighborhood and what it means and can mean to all of us. So stop bitching and help. Volunteer to do something positive for everyone. MY hat is off to all present and past board members who have worked so hard for so long to bring us to where we are today.

I'll get off my soapbox now See-ya
