First of all, I had some interest in Kenwood, so I went to your neighborhood
website, that is where all the complaining is...you neighbors nitpicking at each other instead of really trying to get to the root of your problems. You all sound like a bunch of disgruntled pansies, sitting around on your porches, talking about each other behind backs, too cowardly to go tell your neighbor to do something about the flowered chair in the back of the pick up, too cowardly
to tell your neighbor to rake, clean-up, too cowardly to really organize an effective crime watch...spend your fees more wisely if you're so unhappy about the way things are going. Maybe you feel ripped off because you had to put twenty thousand dollars in that barely standing shack, and your neighborhood still stinks. You talk about the drug dealers, prostitution, break-ins, speeding drivers...but you do it behind closed doors...in neighborhood newsletters and porch parties...maybe you need to understand that you moved into this area...you are feeding crime...why don't you really do something about it rather than clicking away on your keyboard.
Become vigilant, you buncha whimps. You all click away an the keyboard...''yeah,
about time someone said something''...''Yeah, I was thinking that too''...''Yeah, I agree''.
What a joke. You are......the weakest link.

Thanks, Paul, for stating so well exactly what I've been thinking. It is so much more productive for the neighborhood to be positive and pro-active than to blame and criticize without making steps in an uplifting direction.

I have been quite distressed to read so many negative messages here lately. I'm very proud of our neighborhood and of the many people who give vast amounts of personal time to help bring it up. It is, of course, important to recognize those aspects of the neighborhood that need attention, because only then can those problems be addressed. The greater part of that energy, however, is best spent on changing those things that are driving everyone crazy, not on harping on and on about them. Thanks again!

WOW....i just found my new Bestest friend!!!Hey, wanna buy a house? Keep trying to make the point(.)more apparent to those whom are turely afraid of who they are.....and more importantly, where we all are.

Hmmm.....

We have an active neighborhood association with monthly meetings, newsletters delivered to the entire neighborhood, drug marches, trash clean-ups, meetings with codes and police officers, a traffic plan, a park pavillion built by neighbors, decrotive wrought iron street signs installed by neighbors, landscaping planted by neighbors, awards for great and gardening neighbors, a Fall home tour, and an impending historic designation. Now, don't you think we do more than just type our grips on the web? At least everyone cares about our neighborhood and knows their neighbors. If you truly had interest in kenwood, you should have done more than just visit our website. Because if you had you would have seen we have homes going for more than $100 a square foot. Hardly ''shacks'' in a neighborhood that ''still stinks''. People are getting every dollar back out of their investments. Yeah, we have porch parties. Guess what? They are the envy of everyone outside the neighborhood I talk to. Yes, working and sweating together builds spirit, but so does partying. But you'll never know that unless you come. I wonder, if your from outside the neighborhood and no one knows you, why the ''anonymous''? You did forget one thing though, after your last line: GOODBYE!
