Hey, ok, my approach isn't always tactful, but just as Jethro writes his feelings, I do as well...Positive? Well, since I have stated several times, we have lived here long enough that it is very obvious that Historic Kenwood IS my home for several years to come. Yes, things don't always go the way we would like them to. Most distrubing, is the affect that the totally unkept properties surrounding my home, have on myself and my friends and family. Believe me, we have tried everything to solve this matter. But when you look out your front door, and to either side and all you see are rundown homes, dead dirt yards and comercial trucks filled with trash, it does become a real downer. And when the realator known to ''sell'' our neighborhood sells a wonderful home, on the same street, to a family that has no intention to live there, only to use it as a mailing address for school attendance, you have to ask ''what's up?'' Yes, Historic Kenwood is a great place, and I am very proud to call it home, and will do what ever it takes to make it possible for other families to continue to live here. However, there are things that do, truely seem to be out of our control. We have dealt whith good 'ole Betsy from the codes, called the sanitation department, written letters, and even cleaned the alleys and driveways up and down the blocks surrounding our property, and will continue to do so, it is just real hard not to throw our hands up in the air and say....we give up....'nuff said?
thanks!

Thanks Raymond for your positive comments. I can understand your frustration! Keep pluggin' away though! Don't give up!!!!
