A Response and a Challenge
Lane, thanks for all of your hard work over the years on behalf of NSNA and for responding. I haven't heard anyone allege "a conspiracy" or allege that anyone purposefully delayed the process to assist CVS. Members are suspicious in part because board members are verbalizing mistrust of the process. People are asking some reasonable questions about the board process in this matter, and some of the questions have been raised by board members in discussions with members of NSNA. The fact that board members are discussing their concerns about the board process in the CVS matter is a good thing, because the membership has a right to know, but it also reflects problems within the board. Are board members talking honestly to every other board member about their concerns and unhappiness with the process in this matter? My hope is that board members have an honest and frank discussion at the board meetings about the process that occurred and that they work to restore trust, open communication, and some cohesiveness among the board. And I hope that the membership of NSNA attend board meetings, volunteer for committees, and that you don't have to "beg" for people to serve on the board.
