It's Time for a Truce

I can't agree more.

Very well put Carla,

I'm saddened that one man has made such a public disgrace of himself and is attempting to tarnish the name ''Northshore Neighborhood Association''.

If the wounds are to begin a healing process, Mr. Lange himself needs to come forward and apologize to his neighbors, the residents of St. Petersburg, and the media. The cooling off period needs to be initiated from the one person that has caused this, not from the CONA leader and not from his supports. Step forward Mr. Lange at a public meeting and make right the wrongs you have committed as the representative of your neighborhood association.

I can't agree less

I want to appologise for the other misguided Presidents comments. If that President knew what we know, that President would be demanding that Greg Burton apologise.

In my openion, Greg Burton has quietly manipulated the board and NSNA into his own little play ground.

I second the ''Truce'' motion

I hesitate to post this note because I don't want to add to the din of negativity. I often browse this forum trying to glean good information and I'm about ready to give up. It takes too much time to find the few notes that add something useful to the discussion anymore.

That last one represents what has gone wrong with this ''chat area.'' The CONA President started off with a valid point but the replies came back to the usual diatribe. The last one hit a new low -- it reminds me of graffiti on bathroom walls. Unfortunately, the walls are visible to the world. Give us information, not innuendo.

Please folks, if you have something new and constructive to write, please do so. If something is wrong in Mudville, bring out the facts in a decent manner.

And how about avoiding ''tit for tat'' replies -- they monopolize the forum and it just isn't possible to ''have the last word'' in this forum anyway. (I know, I know, I'm responding to a specific message right now but I'm really addressing the overall tone of many posted messages.) People just seem to get even more angry which is not the direction we need to be heading.

Well, there are my two cents for better or worse.

We in NSNA are so grateful to have your calm head and right thinking mind advising us. However, Diog - talking with pebbles in your mouth makes it difficult for the rest of us to see your point. But, please do tell us more about the ''good information you are trying to glean.'' What good info have you been able to glean? Give me some idea and I'll try real hard to keep my comments in your favorable light. I work at being one of the most objective readers and writers on this board. I am sure you will agree that the person who claimed to be a neighborhood president and asked Steve to publicly appologize was a fake - not a real neighborhood president. Anyone who has served their community as neighborhood president would certainly never advocate this action. It is ridiculous and illogical -thus, a fake. Let me know your opinons on this and other matters. I look forward to your further advice.
