To the Bellemeade Council, someone surely overlooked the following when you passed the ordinance.

North Chadwick is a Metro Road. 

The easement is a Metro easement.

My trees and probably some of the others along Chadwick are inside the Metro easement.

You have alientated a large number of citizens.  Please look at what you have done and repeal this ordinace or at least suspend the arborist's inspections until you come to your senses before someone files a law suit. 

You passed this ordinace despite the fact that in excess of 70 people came to a council meeting to voice their opposition and not one citizen other than those on the council spoke in favor.  What is wrong with that picture???????????????????????????????

I can not believe you are spending money like this.  Is this project why the tax increase was necessary?

As an aside, what's the status of the speed humps?  Someone said 4 to 8 weeks at one time about 8 weeks ago.

And what did you get for an answer?  If you tend to agree that public money should not be spent on private property, why do you continue to vote for it?  Next question:  do you favor or oppose increasing the Beautification Committee allocation in the next budget?

What did we gain from the money paid to the arborist?

The mayor's notes about the April,  2011,  Commission meeting said someting to the fact that a tax increase was avoided.  Perish the thought!!!!  A tax increase should NEVER be considered as long as we are spending tax money on private property and as long as public safety suffers from lack of money!!!
