Who is the leadership of the Oaks neighborhood Association?

as I am trying to do a little research I see that there are 30 persons registered with this site including myself. Half of these people have never posted and maybe like myself they are keeping an eye on what's being said waiting for the right moment to speak up. 

How is it this is supposed to represent Oaks when this is not even the amount of people that live on the tiny stretch of Perkiomen Avenue? 

Of the 15 people that post, most of the activity on this site is from four people one of them being the administrator.

Although I commend John for having intelligent insightful posts with upcoming planning for the most part and I also respect him for minimal bashing of ALD and the other businesses in Oaks that all of us 'other neighbors' own and employ and live and work. 

I have a more than full time job, and don't have time to do this all day like some people but I have had free time this weekend to speak out what some of the other people of Oaks think.

Why are the meetings not held in a publicly open place with notice?

Its obvious you have good energy and concern for the town and proably some good ideas to share, but have made some members cautious becasue of your critical approch.

There are many of us out there that find the work going on constructive and have no problem knowing when and where the meetings are held.

Many businesses have helped, and in the spirt of constructiveness are engaging with ALD in the near future to try and find common ground and a path forward.

Its so much better to get engaged rather than snipe.

If you prefer the latter don't be surprised if we are too busy trying to improve things than to pay attention to it. If on the other hand you want to get enageged and help, then say so, and who you are and build trust.

Mark, It would be great to be involved but unfortunately it's not that easy for me, and I would have preferred to be open about who I am but I have too much to risk and the previous posts and attitudes which I will list prevent me from doing so.

1) Gil Zimmerman's combative attitude referencing the "ALD camp" commending Adam Williams for 'provoking a response' when he thought I was associated with ALD.

2)Adam Williams numerous occasions, Threatens to "sue the parent company of Rapid Recycling" to reduce the truck traffic. 

 3)His response to "Woodswalker" that he would no longer be a patron of the perky because he could not support a business that drives someone out of their home.

4)His stellar use of negotiation when he claims to have parked his truck in the middle of brower avenue stopping truck traffic.

5)"Woodswalker's" suggestion that we should consider a boycott of the new Uno's and stores to be added across egypt rd. when the conversation about sidewalks (which seem like a nice idea) was brought up.

You guys crucified the kid at the Perky with suggestions of call the police, and petition the township, and call the liquor control board. Not a single person asked or suggested to go over and talk to him and ask for help. I know he works hard at his business as I do mine and you guys did a great job shutting down the weekend entertainment. (You did accomplish that. Cheers!!) I tend to be in at night but when I was younger that was a lot of fun. And I would not have moved next to a bar if I didn't want to hear the customers.

So Mark, I'm afraid I'm not willing to risk my business, my family and the impact it could have on my financial future just so you could know who I am but I can say I'm not the only one.

Just another perspective on the Perk. I've been going there for 20 years, and wish Josh nothing but success. - But he was approched driectly by more than a few people (long before anyone I knew suggested contacting authorites) and asked if he could have them just turn it down a bit?

I'd welcome any live music and did so by going there more in the past year than in the past 5 without the bands.

I asked him myself when I saw "the rift" and a few other bands on friday and sat nights there. I 'loved going there seeing a band, but almost everyone was cranked very loud. - I've heard metalica concerts at fewer Dbs.

 Being an adjacent negihbor to that sound though was probably a nightmare compared to the years it was a quite neighborhood place.
