while we're at it..
I agree. I've already put my car up for sale. The proceeds that I get from that, I'll use to pay for an attorney to sue the HOA because last night when I was skate boarding down the slides on the US Home playground, I fell and hurt myself. That's a real liability Mr. Dave Sobelman. You need to look into that. Also, the Doggie Pots, I almost suffocated myself because I put one of the bags over my head the other day. The HOA really needs to look into that. I'm not sure the Doggie Pots are a good idea. Who knows how many countless lives are at risk because of the bags? Also, the sand doesn't taste too good. That's a real concern of mine. Bits of cat crap, etc. It just needs to be raked and stuff and I'd like some answers on who I can talk to about this stuff. IMMEDIATELY!

tony has common sense
thank you tony, finally someone has said what needs to be heard. i also have the same questions as you. i would hope the HOA has the warranty on the playground equipment; it sure would be a shame and waste of money to pay for repairs when we dont have to; as well as all emergency numbers. while i am sure the airforce would be 'able to figure out a plane crashed' as one resident has stated i dont want to wait around for them to show up or pay for their damages or file the endless amount of necessary forms. while if it crashed into my house i would call my insurance broker. however if it crashed into a common area that isnt my direct problem. please keep in mind these planes are flying very low and practing manuvers much more frequently these days.
my only wish is that the HOA had more people like tony on the board who were able to think ahead and try to prevent problems from occuring rather then wait to be told of an issue then sit around and try to get an answer.
i look forward to hearing more of tony's ideas and concepts.

Hopes, Wishes, Desires
Why is it that everyone hopes the hoa does this and wishes the hoa does that? You people are so damn lazy you wouldn't even know what happens. I was smart enough to attend a few meetings to get the answers i needed. Sure I don't go to the meeting every month but ya know what, I went when I needed or wanted to. I didn't just sit around quessing and hoping. You bought a house, they gave you the documents but I guess with all the trash sitting around your house you would never find those papers. Maybe it's just easier for you to blame everyone else for your problems. I'm so glad you are concerned about a plane crashing. Why did you buy a house if this is such an issue. Maybe a trailer in some park would be in order so the only thing you have to worry about are winds blowing your roof off.

You obviously NEVER dealt with the government. Let me inform you if a fighter jet damaged community property it would be next to impossible to get paid for the damages that is the way government works period. next a current and accurate phone directory should be in place let put it in simple terms that a person of your limited ability can understand. lighting call 623-XXXXXXX
landscape call 623-XXXXXX
playground call
if that was in place even you could handle it. presently the HOA doesnt have the listing. get it done. Expect the unexpected and prepare for it. New York can be a model for preparedness BEFORE they had 9/11 they had a plan that is why very few were killed, and they had cleanup going on within hours.
If the HOA had a pool would they have contacts for cleaning and repair of course. They are not professionals and I was providing info to think about. IF they listen and prepare when the Blue recycle trash dumpsters arrive they will have a plan in place to deal with that too.
