Yes lets all be patient while our park is being used to do drugs & have sex.   While those of us with young children who worry about letting our kids go outside because of what they will see lets just all keep them inside while unsupervised teenagers run the neighborhood while we are being patient.  I don't feel that I need to yet explain to my 8yr old what a condom is while we are at the lake because parents have lost control of there youth & don't know where they are or don't care.  Someone needs to get in touch with are local constables office for them to start patrolling the neighborhood during the middle of the night.  We also should even start looking into other management companies who would actually do something....

I agree with you.  I am a school teacher and sitting around and waiting for these teens to grow up is the worst idea I have ever heard.  I am not going to sit around and watch my neighborhood go down the drain while we patiently wait for these young teens to grow out of it.  this is not why we moved here.  I have seen several people driving around this neighborhood with no consideration for the people walking.   My kids wake up at night with the loud music being played at all hours of the night.  Someone needs to be accountable for those young people causing trouble.  The parents is where it starts.  They need to take care of the situation first.  If they do not want to take care of the problem then we as an association need to take care of the problem by taking some action against the parents.  If that still does not work, well then be creative.  Teens make bad decisions all the time.  Even adults do.  I think those bad decisions can be limited by the intervention of parents. 

OK, who should report? What should they say? Who do they go to? We need a plan.

I found if you call the non ememgency number SAPD number which is 207 SAPD you get a faster response than calling 911.  There are adults there in that home.  There previous tenants had large trucks parked in the street all of the time with multiple families there.  A big issue was not brought up with them.  The SAFE officer is also involved. He can be contacted as well if there is an issue.  He is around as he padded down my son because he had a hooded sweatshirt on. Never mind that it said special olympics and he was carring a pokeman book, but because of the way that he looked and he didnt respond to the officer, he was almost cuffed.  This is a special needs child.  So because of the way these teenagers are perceived, the ones that are not involved are sucked in to the issue.   The SAFE officer has made arrests out of the home.  My family has not personally had issue but because there were assumptions made based on preceptions, things may have gotten out of hand.  Has anyone ever gone over and talked to them?  They are our neighbors like it or not.  I have, and I have not had issue with them. I know the cars and the noise, but I bet if one goes over there and has a civil conversation and is not hostile, I bet you might get a bit more of a reception.  I am not saying that they are perfectly upstanding but sometimes a non hostile face to face conversation will solve more than threating letters with no bite.
