And why do we have a non local company? so we can put of with sanctimonious responses and not corrections?

If we have a local manager why then do we have to call the 1-800 you are not important number?

I have called them before.  Somehow my work number is on the gate.  I was told it would be addressed.  Its still not right.

This is my response back to them and the email string.   Whats wrong with a local management company?

Is there anyway to have a direct number to her?  No I didn't correct the violation as there was not one on my part to start .  I understand the term and deed restrictions as I have served on the board in the past 24 years that we have lived here.  I do not understand why there is not a local number for us to contact, perhaps talk to someone who is familiar with our neighborhood.   In a message dated 1/26/2009 8:41:50 P.M. Dear Sir or Madam, This is the second time that we have received a "nasty gram" about trash cans that do not belong to us.  The letter is dated January 9th and its in reference to an inspection on January 6th.  The trash cans are my neighbor's and they are medical professionals who work over night and longer shifts.  The inspector assumed that they were ours when in fact they are in between the two properties, as we are not on a zero property line, and not in front of anyone's house. When its decided to waste the association's money on postage,  you need to make sure that you have the right property.    Thank you, Yvonne Spade .

Yvonne,

I agree with you completely.  We need to have a local management company and not have to deal with 800 numbers or fax numbers.  In past we had managers who we could call and they actually answered the phones.  I think we need to return to people who have companies in San Antonio and understand they work for us.

I agree as well. I would not be happy if I had to email of fax or call where ever instead of contacting the local person.
