A realtor who lives outside of T/L discussed the importanceof our lake as an ammenty anchor. She could not put a dollar value on our indiviual properties. She also stated that our entrance behind a convenience store and over a drainage ditch has something to be desired. We looked at the due dilligence of securing water rights for our lake. Our lake is seven acres. We talked about needing to have our well logged. We need to contract with a local well company to pull the pump & perform a series of test to confirm which aquifer we are in. We discussed the Gordon Hartan disability park has an eight acre lake that is not in the Edwards Aquifer. There is a small possibility that we could do something similar. The Board of Directors interviewed a local attorney that specializes in water rights for industrial users. Our next step is to have the pump pulled & logged. We will have anyone interested in a counterpoint presentation speak at the May meeting. The last Tuesday of May at the Tool yard, 7 pm. Kevin Ott T/L BOD president p.s.
