I agree with your original post.  While I have room in my garage, a week's worth of smelly non-recyclable trash fermenting in a 100 degree plus garage is not to my liking.  I'm inclined to put the black cart beside by house behind a shrub but I'd like an opinion from a member of the BOD.  Will we be in violation?

This topic has not yet been discussed at any meetings.  I went to the  informational meeting prior to the roll out.  They suggested all trash be placed in sealed plastic bags.  It's my personal opinion that as long as they are not visible from the street they are probably okay.  I'm sure there will be more opinions to follow.....

We put our trash cans behind our front fence, behind the gate at the side of our yard. The evening before trash pickup, we roll them out to the street.

Our garage was much too small for our trash cans, as we found when we tried it for a year or so. We park both our cars in our garage.

I'm sorry to ask this, but are we not all adults here? Can we not handle our own waste in a grown up way? Or are we asking these questions for the benefit of neighbors who will never read this blog or mend their ways?
