  I have a cell phone and it is not 3g,4g or fast enough or easy enough to navigate more or less use for Internet. I barely get face book on it and that's not so good.

Blackberry? Ipad? That would be nice but I can't afford them.  Access from work?

Education settings have fire walls and my place of employment only allows computer access for educational purposes (why would I risk my job?)

 

However, I note that you slide by issues by bringing up inuendos about this site and what you think I have done...basically harass the BOD?

 

Kevin do you honestly believe that I have sent harassing post ? Honestly?

Go back to all the prior post and pull up what you think I did....repost them.....You are going to find out that none of them , aside from a normal complaint here or there,

You will find that our neighbors who follow and post regularly here will claim ownership....

 

Have you been under the impression that I have been harassing the BOD?

No way.

 

BOD get enough complaints and harassing emails without someone adding to the grief on the Website...

 

I have had only two complaints that I have brought up to the board directly.

Both times I was treated rather unprofessionally. (so much so that my comments did not even make the minutes...)(first complaint)

If anyone cares to notice I rarely socialize with my neighbors, I have been recovering from several ailments that left me incapacitated for two summers in a row and for the past 2 year I have concentrating on family, which for those of you who know me has really been the focus of my computer life (well that and Dark Orbit a computer game)  Most of the time I barely remember to post our hits....

In other words I actually have a life...

So why would I harass the BOD?

 

However, to prove to you, that my statements are correct I will allow you total access to the website functions.

(please note: in the 7 years of being webmaster for this site I have never been asked to relinquish this site, there was a time I was so tired of it that I gave access to a current bod member along with passwords and he never acted on it.)

Did you know that Kevin?

 

You will find:

1. I do not know who you are. Your address are kept at Neighborhood link and I have never requested an IP address.

 

2. Veto or editing?   It not as easy as one would think. As stated earlier it must be approved by Neighborhood link and sometimes it is vetoed.

 

3.At most I can do is edit, post and update information for the neighborhood site

  (and I'm pretty proud of that! Our website is pretty much up to date.)

 

4. Other postings under a different name or computer

(  I.P. addresses from my house are all the same. It's what I been trying to tell you but....doesn't matter if I change email address , Neighborhood link still knows who you are)

 

5 When you find this out and apology at the next board meeting would be nice.

 

It is a shame that you see the only evil that you see in yourself.

I've made my point:   The postings can not be verified.  The webmaster has operated without any oversight.

 

Every well run organization has to have checks & balances (internal controls).   It is vital that staff rotation accurs, not only to prevent burn out, but also to validate policy and standards are being met. 

 

The more we are cross trained, the more valuable we become.  We also will have a greater appreciation for the amount of work required (or lack of) for any particular role.

          This website has always been run with peer oversight. 

That oversight has been you, our neighbors and readers.

"Community thru Communication" has been the motto from the inception of this website.

If you have read all the postings you will find that our "friend" has brought up issues that were each answered and on top of that "opened" for verification.

That being said, note the tone,manner and mostly the style of our neighbor

It seemed like I was jousting with a talk radio host...lol
