Please 5565 Brookton Way needs help with the Creek behind house.

We have ask before and nothing done. It continues to take out our yard when it rains hard.

Our fence is just about ready to drop down in creek.

Someone has to own this common ground, could you tell me how to find them.

Please work with me  and let us get help with this.

Would like someone to call and come down to see for themself.

Just look under contacts over on the right side. I'm pretty sure the area behind your house belongs to our subdivision just as the one behind my house on Limerick. All of our houses would have the same issue but we have had to use a variety of methods to stop the erosion. Some kind of erosion control method should have been installed prior to the fence being erected.

     Looks as if someone way back when put Railroad ties, they are rotted out.

    Thanks for replying. When we got the house the fence was already up. Would it be our responsibily to take care of this? Just lost my husband cannot do myself.

Hi Sandra,

It's my understanding that this would be your responsibilty. As to replacing it, the first question I asked my mother is, does it really need to be done? This acually happened prior to her passing. She spent $5,000 on a beautiful wall behind her yard that her neighbors really appreciated. She though, couldn't see it at all. I don't think it mattered when we sold her house 5 years later but it made her happy, so I guess it was money well spent. We could ask a real estate salesperson their opinion since you may be selling your home sometime in the future.
