Our BOD has known about Lisa Sun and her class action lawsuit for years.
They knew she was angry, they knew they had many other neighbors that have been ignored through the years. They knew she had been talking about dragging them into court.
I was under the impression that they had enough smarts between them to have Directors and Officers Insurance. I assumed, for the past months, that they had Directors and Officers Insurance and they could use it for the Bill Gammon case (or any other). I assumed that Lisa Sun and her emails and letters about a lawsuit were enough warning for them. How much warning did they need?
Guess what. They never got the D & O insurance.
One of our neighbors sent me an email today and told me that he knew for a fact, that the BOD only had general liability insurance and NOT Directors and Officers Insurance. He also sent me the web address below that talks about how EVERY HOA NEEDS this insurance.
What kind of a slipshod BOD do we have? Can't they figure out the needed management basics of this HOA?
Mr. O'Rielly, forget about the $40,000.00 slide you want to add to the pool, and get down to the nuts and bolts of the community.
BOD, listen to your neighbors for a change. If you did, you (and all of us) would not be in the mess you're in, and we would not have to pay for your insurance omission.
By the way, I've also heard that the BOD has plans to bump up the minimum assessment amount of the residents here in Circle C, they will blame it on Bill Gammon.
But think for one moment....
(That will be an excuse) The legal fee needs will only be for one year...all the future years can go to their friends contracts (without any bids or competition). Just another opportunity to squeeze another few hundred thousand out of the neighborhood (every year).
