Trial Canceled
The CCHOA vs Gammon trial will not occur. The mediation today between the 2 parties was a success for the residents of Circle C. Bill Gammon asked the audience at the Town Hall meeting in November what they wanted. He also spoke to some of the audience before and after the Town Hall meeting, in person, via phone and email for input from CC residents. Mr. Gammon received everything he asked for, such as a specific order and organization of a future CCHOA special meeting and other items. I'll be asking him to update everyone via this website. Please look for his update. Of course, the main thrust of his lawsuit this spring was to keep the BOD from capping/reducing residents votes (this would have favored builder votes) and making the BOD produce a voters list as per Texas law, something that had never happened in the 16 year history of Circle C. The judge ruled in his/our favor on those counts as well. |

Pay up
So, how much will Gammon pay? |

Gammon had to pay....
Anonymous, Gammon paid what he should have ...zero, nada, nothing. Why, did he not have to pay a cent? Because the board was wrong. The board LOST the two major points of Mr. Gammons original lawsuits (read my last post in this thread). Again, as I stated in the last post, the board gave Mr. Gammon everything he wanted in the mediation. At the beginning of the mediation, the board actually stated the petition to expand the board was trash. They said the name, address, phone and email address's of those signed the petition was not enough information to qualify the online signatures. They backed off that ridiculous point when Mr. Gammon fought for the petition as his neighbors asked him to. Mr. Gammon has been fighting for your rights, Anonymous'', and you don't even have the courage to post your name. The BOD has used Mr. Gammon as a scapegoat, to further their own personal needs. The BOD never told you through our newsletter or any other means what the lawsuit was really about. They just told you Mr. Gammon was bad, and some of you believed it, without asking questions. THINK The BOD is still using our money as political tools. Read the Dec newsletter and Think. It's politicly slanted. Most HOA's have independent management companies that have professional newsletters that state FACTS. Not political opinions, half truths and excuses. We need a professional independent management company after we get 9 board members. |
