Get rid of Board members O'Reilly and Rigsbee. Get them out of office. They clearly can't do the job of runing this CCHOA - Get them out.
These guys aren't interested in the CCHOA. They're interested in self-preservation - and that's a sorry state of leadership for any organization.
Get them out. They waste your time and mine. They don't lead - they simply stand up and pontificate absurdities.
This upcoming meeting is an example of their absurdity. The meeting should be for the following purposes: To hear CCHOA candidates for the Board; for the residents/members of the CCHOA to hear the various candidates' ideas, goals, what they would do if elected, and why the position is important to them; and it should be a time for the residents/members to ask candidates questions.
Any forum for candidates that aren't running for CCHOA Board positions should be at another meeting.
Tell the Board you don't want their continued lack of leadership.
Tell them to stop wasting your time.
Tell them you want the CCHOA Board candidates, only, heard at the upcoming meeting.
If the Board doesn't change the meeting agenda to reflect your needs and wishes, don't show up for the meeting until the 2nd hour - just in time for the CCHOA Board candidates.
I feel sorry for the external candidates (non-CCHOA Board candidates) who'll come and get stuck presenting in this mess. It's a waste of their time too if people aren't interested in hearing their messages.
