Yeah, I suppose what I call sarcasm and wry humor is something like anger. It actually is disgust.
Disgust that a very narrow minority of people have chosen to take a community chat center like this and use it for character assassination and vitriol.
I would be happy to respond to anything anyone would like to ask me, if they will come and ask me to my face.
Cowards that hide behind their computers and spew garbage knowing full well it would get them a punch in the nose if done in person, are still cowards. I do not respond to cowards.
I have spoken up in person at several of those bomb throwing events Batman and Boy Wonder referred to as meetings.
I will continue to attend CCHOA functions and welcome anyone that would like to come to me and ask me anything. My life is an open book. I am a citizen and a Christian.
If I do not repond to something on this Clown Show, it is either because one cannot prove a negative or will not dignify something stupid with a response.

Majority?

You seem to have genuine concerns and enjoy reasonable debate so I would like to respond to this.
The way you express your concerns tell me that what might be appropriate here is a breif civics lesson. I mean it with all due respect.
First, the majority thing: America and Circle C is a representative republic.
The majority only comes into play when electing the representatives like the CCHOA Board. In spite of what Batman and Boy Wonder would like you to believe, this board was elected. I was there, I saw it. As a matter of fact, Jim O'Reilly was reluctant to stand again for President, but nobody else wanted the thankless job. Because he has sincere concerns for his and your homes and property values, he took the job.
Another thought about majority and this will tell you why the board does not respond the way you might think.
Look at the head count on this website.
After Batman, Boy Wonder and the Crazy Lady down the Block you have maybe 8 or 10 with what appear to be somewhat legitimate concerns.
Out of the 2500+ people that live in Circle C do you think this represents a majority?
Besides, anyone with a legitimate complaint can take it to the board, follow due process and get redress.
Now the board's decision on how to respond to the complaint as you can imagine has a wide range of factors affecting it; not the least of which is economic. Primarily the board is in fact charged with representing what it perceives as the will of the majority (that means the 1500+ that do not write on this website). And that's assuming they are not simply bound by a bylaw or the board approved budget.
Do you want the board to jump every time someone bitches?
The pool is just one great example. It is for the 2500 plus people that live here. It is nobody's private pool. Bringing in the swin team was an economic and a prestige based decision.
Randy's socalled ''sweetheart'' deal was not the best of offers he received.
He is bringing Olympic caliber atheltes to this pool, his share of the expenses have taken it from a seasonal to a year round pool and he bends like a pretzel to accomodate when approached in a respectful manner. Again, I know this to be true because I have witnessed it.
Unlike Batman and his thugs that choose to use innuendo,speculation and out of context tidbits to villify someone blocking their way to power(a typical Marxist approach)the CCHOA Board has honorable people that have Circle C's homeowners best intrests at heart. Believe it!
I have known all of them for years and there is more honor in Ken Rogsbee's little finger than in Batman & Boy Wonder's entire family.
The truth always wins out. And when good people like you seem to be see a fair and balnced edition of the truth, you will realize this Clown Show is just that.

You caught us. Cindy and my wife were in fact volunteer moms for that hated nefarious Skimmers-Summer Swim League.
Yeah, they hogged the pool for a few weeks this year. In fact I saw a 6 year old chase a REAL Circle C homeowner clear out of the pool.
And the other 180 Circle C resident parents that participated will no doubt be ultimately discovered by your clever sleuthery. Let's see-180 vs. Batman and Boy Wonder; I'll take those odds. We can read in chorus from the judges order that said Batman has no standing to represent Circle C Homeowners and neither do you.
Go get em' Boy Wonder. They are everywhere. We are laughing while you and Batman cluck like a couple of Col. Sanders' best.
And if I call and make an appointment, will you be sure to be standing next to me when I vote at the next CCHOA election?

Hey, Leslie is looking for you. Should I give him/her your address? He/she would be impressed that you are on the county roles as a homeowner. He/she needs a new place to crash since the mold house threw her/him out. How about yours? You two would have a lot to talk about. He/she is a civic leader just like you.

If you think that Sal or anyone else is a butt head okay, but to belittle him like this doesn?’t get people to listen to you. They shut down because it's so negative! It's okay to debate, but you mentioned in one of your other emails that you were a Christen, I don't like asking this but...is this the way a Christen should behave? I dislike SHOULDING on someone (no pun intended) but you could debate Sal, me anybody and state your opinion without sounding so nasty and on it!

It goes beyond the pool issue, before moving to CCR, the last HOA I lived in I was the VP of the board. I CHOOSE not to be president as I had too much on my plate at the time. I know what it is like to volunteer to try to make things better, and it is thankless, BUT what this is about is disclosing the books and being open to homeowners.

If the BOD is as righteous as you say, and they are SERVING us in good faith, then show the figures to the thousands of homeowners who live here. 3 BOD?’s running the show in secret is not right. On the last board I sat on, we disclosed everything to ALL homeowners. Even though we had to make discussions for the majority, we asked people what THEY wanted. Also, the fact that Gary Bradley has the reputation in Austin as being a scumbag and his ex-employees award themselves contracts is not right and is alarming. What other company does not bid out things like landscaping? Oh yes, they said they bid it out and only one company put a bid in. I?’ll betcha I could get 10 bids if this was my job. Other things that are mentioned are about the rent amount that Circle C Landscaping and Denise N. office?’s pay is nuts! I could go on and on but I?’ll spare everyone. Read the emails posted by Lisa. You may not like her either but all of these things can?’t be bull! Lastly, is it true that you don?’t even live in CCR, which was mentioned? If you don?’t, why do give a rat?’s ass so much? What is at stake for you? Regarding why only a few post, most people I have spoken with have NO idea this site exists. Some have told me they read it but don?’t post for their own reasons I don?’t want to guess why. How about if we could actually post this address on the mail boxes for all to see?…. That would really scare the crap out the BOD!
